The Personal and professional skills course (PPS) is a compulsory part of the IBCP core.
The course is internally assessed through a portfolio of evidence students collate through their project based learning that takes place over the 2 years of the IBCP.
It is designed for students to develop attitudes, skills & strategies to be applied to personal and professional situations and contexts now and in the future.
The PPS course will be designed to suit learners at WIS and their individual career paths but will aim to meet the following goals:
To develop individuals as reflective life long learners who can adapt to diverse situations
To recognize personal strengths & identify ways to overcome challenges
To be aware of and respond effectively to ethical dilemmas
To value diversity of cultures and perspectives
