The reflective project encapsulates the fundamental elements of the IBCP. It enables students to see the culmination of their programme strands in formal assessment. All IBCP students must complete the reflective project
The reflective project should identify an issue linked to the career related study and investigate an ethical dilemma that arises from the issue. A range of viewpoints should be examined with evaluation and reflection demonstrated on the issue discussed.
There are two options when completing the reflective project: Option 1: A written essay (maximum 3000 words) Option 2: A written essay (1,500-2000 words) accompanied by an additional format, which should support and add information to the reflective project overall. The additional format should equate to around 700 words or 7 minutes depending on the option, for example:
